heritage of the Plzeň Region as well as its present. On its pages it is
possible to meet with 93 lovely towns and villages like Horšovský Týn,
Domažlice, Sušice or lesser-known Dobřív or magic Manětín
together with its famous Baroque architecture, with 10 natural monuments and
features including the National Park Šumava. The book records 119
cultural-historical monuments in total, e. g.
castles Rabí, Přimda, Švihov, Žebrák, Zbiroh
and Radyně, chateaux, churches, monasteries, along with the monastery
in Plasy and in Kladruby, and pilgrimage sites, theatres, military
and technique monuments, galleries and museums together with many important
